Pulp industry references

Our largest deliveries have been new construction projects for Finnish pulp mills.

UPM-Kymmene Corporation, Pietarsaari, Ozone Plant, 2010

UPM relocated an ozone generator from Kajaani to Pietarsaari mill. At the same time Pietarsaari’s old ozone plant’s automation system was changed from Alcont to MetsoDNA. We delivered the project electrical planning and automation engineering.

M-real Corporation, Kaskinen, BCTMP Mill, Helmi project, 2005

In this project we delivered application design for the metsoDNA system. The total scope of the delivered system was approx. 3,000 I/O’s. In addition, we were responsible for the automation system start-up within our application area and provided support in other sections.

UPM Kymmene Corporation, Pietarsaari, WISA REC800 project, 2004

For this project we delivered application design for the metsoDNA system in the areas of the evaporation plant, lime sludge reburning kiln, tall oil cooking department and condensate treatment. Our delivery also included logistics interfaces for burner controls (HIMA) and electric filter control logics. The total scope of the delivery was more than 3,000 I/O’s. We were also responsible for the automation system start-up within our application area and provided support in other sections.

Klabin S.A., Correia Pinto DCS, Recovery line, Brazil, 2004

In this project the mill’s old Fisher control system was replaced with a metsoDNA system. We provided application design for the metsoDNA system, approx. 3,000 I/O’s in total, and the automation system start-up was also on our responsibility.
