Savon Voima’s fuel information into control with Once system

Protacon delivers Once fuel information management system to all of Savon Voima Oyj's heat and power plants.
Once system will cover a network of 12 solid fuel plants and 43 oil heat plants. The delivery will take place during 2011.
Once system helps to manage the whole fuel logistics from the forest road and peat bog to the plant. Once combines power and heat plants' information on delivered fuel, energy amounts and emissions into the system, from where the data is easily applied for reports. Solid fuel sampling's quality control and clarifications are a central part of Once system. In addition the produced ash and by-products can be reported through the same system. Real time data transfer for different interest groups brings remarkable savings and increases delivery reliability.
