Protacon Solutions Ltd has sold Protacon Software Ltd's stock to its operating management.
The trading comes into effect on 1.2.2011. The acquisition enables Protacon Software Ltd to focuse on mobile technology and embedded systems, which departs from Protacon Solutions Ltd's main business sector.
The new company will be called SoftRain Ltd. Company's office remains in Varkaus and the staff continues as old employees. The customer projects in progress are moved over to SoftRain Ltd and the companies continue their cooperation.
"SoftRain Ltd will focus especially on mobile software solutions of the industry and businesses using modern bases such as Meego, iPhone, Android and Symbian. Our special knowhow includes also embedded system related software solutions", tells SoftRain Ltd's CEO Mr. Kari Kaukonen about the future of the new company.
