Protacon implemented an electronic fishing diary for Metsähallitus

The network service is continuation for the electronic hunting license application and data handling system delivered by Protacon in 2008.
Every fisher can open his own diary and save his fishing information on the new free network service ( www.tuikki.fi ). For the first time fishing sites can be precisely marked on ordnance survey map, where also many water's depth curves can be seen.
With their draft notes the fishers help the maintenance of the fishing waters and improve sustainable fishing. The total drafts and the division of the drafts between different fish species are essential information for the maintenance of the fishing waters.
For the fishers the diary offers a fun and an interactive way of sharing their hobby. The fisher can save versatile information, stories and photos about his fishing on his diary. When preferred the fisher can also share the draft notes with his fisher mates.
