15.6.2009
Metsähallitus has introduced an electronic hunting license application and data handling system implemented by Protacon Solutions Ltd.
Now hunters can easily apply small game season licenses, elk regional licenses and the related cross-country traffic licenses as well as update them in the web. In addition the system speeds up handling the applications and gives reliable information for the hunt management planning.
License application system was used for the first time in small game season license applications in April and the service was very well received. Already half of the applications were submitted in electronic format. Web application ( http://lupahaku.protacon.fi
) enables also flexibly offering the licenses when the game license situations change. Following will be applied the Lapland application area’s small game season licenses (so called waterfowl and hare licenses) starting from July.
