Protacon expanded to Savonlinna

Protacon Engineering Ltd has opened an office in Savonlinna’s new Technology park, which is Finland’s leading business and know-how center in chemical wood technology and services.
”The new office is close to our customers in pulp and paper industry and the synergy advantages for example in research and development are remarkable”, clarifies Protacon Group’s CEO Timo Akselin the background of the expansion.
Chief Engineer B.Sc. Mikko Pesonen has taken the charge of the new branch office and Protacon is currently recruiting more LabVIEW and automation experts to Savonlinna. Mr. Pesonen believes that Protacon attracts both skilled technology masters from the area as well as returning emigrants to the beautiful scenery of Saimaa lake region.
