M-real Plc’s Husum turbine started up successfully

Protacon delivered turbine automation modernization to Husum mill's power plant in cooperation with Fortum.
After the modernization the turbine has been started up successfully and it has been synchronized into the net.
Automation modernization was made with Siemens S7 based turbine automation solution developed by Protacon. Equivalent modernizations have been delivered to Etelä-Savon Energia at Pursiala's power plant and to UPM Plc's Kaukaa pulp mill. The next delivery is on its project stage to UPM Plc's Kaipola mill and its introduction will be at the end of 2011.
