Kaukaa turbine started up successfully

Protacon delivered turbine automation modernization to UPM-Kymmene Corporation’s Kaukaa pulp mill power plant.
The delivery was done in cooperation with Fortum.
After the modernization the turbine has been started up successfully and it has been synchronized to the net on July 15th 2010.
Automation modernization was made with Siemens S7 based turbine automation solution developed by Protacon.
